Unlocking Blue Horizons: Investing in Liberia’s Fisheries and Aquaculture Future
The National Fisheries Investment Conference (NFIC) is Liberia’s premier platform for mobilizing investment, strengthening partnerships, and shaping the future of the country’s fisheries and aquaculture sector.
Organized by the National Fisheries & Aquaculture Authority (NaFAA) and supported by the World Bank–through Liberia Sustainable Management of Fisheries Project (LSMFP), Pro-Blue, the European Union, Orange Liberia, and the OPEC Fund. The conference brings together national leaders, investors, development partners, technical experts, and coastal communities to advance Liberia’s blue-economy vision.
NFIC 2026 will be held from the 30th to the 31st of March 2026 in Liberia, with more than 250 participants expected. The event features high-level policy dialogues, technical sessions, and a dedicated Blue Investment Marketplace for showcasing innovative solutions across the Fisheries and Aquaculture value chain.
